Many health blogs and publications embrace the adverse effects of poor health habits, provide ominous warnings about illness and disease and share a multitude of adverse and side effects of medications that can be taken to treat these conditions. We firmly believe in the old saying that “an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” On another hand, there are also many food publications that highlight the pleasurable and entertaining aspects of food and ignore everything else, while many others focus only on the nutritional benefits of food.

Germs and Wellness presents a combination of these perspectives! We want you to know that you can have an enjoyable life while eating healthy food. Eating a salad or vegetables should not be viewed as a form of punishment. Good food is essential and preparing nutritious, tasty meals at home serves many different purposes. The kitchen remains a great place to connect with family and friends. Food tastes good, keeps us alive and well, and is a never-ending source of joy!
